March 2008

• The following reports have been added to the current reporting tool:

  • the County Profile report;
  • the County Detail report;
  • the Demographics and Statistics report;
  • the Data Sources report;
  • and the Data Dictionary Report (including the Data Dictionary Search Tool)

December 2007

• MORE CURRENT DATA The core HRSA datasets in the HRSA Geospatial Data warehouse are now refreshed on a daily basis. The affected datasets are:
  
  • HRSA Grants
  • Health Professional Shortage Areas
  • Health Centers
  • National Health Service Corps
  • Medically Underserved Areas / Populations

November 2007

• NEW DATA Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) - Programs and Centers data have been added to the available reports and to the interactive map. More information about this HRSA program is available here

October 2007

• The report interface has been completely re-engineered to provide a cleaner, simpler-to-use tool. Although most of the reports have already been converted to the new look and feel (they are marked "New Look"), a few (the State and County Profiles, the County Detail, and the Demographics and Statistics report) are still being converted. These should come online under the new format in the near future.

August 2007

• Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) data can now be downloaded as a set of text files suitable for import into spreadsheet, database, or SAS formats. Visit the HPSA Data Download Page to access the downloadable files.
