Health Information Technology
Health Information Technology (HIT) makes it possible for health care providers to better manage patient care through secure use and sharing of health information, including the use of electronic records instead of paper medical records to maintain patients’ health information. HRSA’s Health Information Technology programs aim to improve health outcomes for the Nation’s most vulnerable and underserved populations through advancing the use of health information technology and continuous quality improvement to enhance care delivery.
The HRSA Data Warehouse (HDW) allows users to interact with data in charts, tables/reports, maps, and tools. Visit the Data Sources and Refresh Dates page for more information about where HIT data is available in the HDW.
